The picture, widely circulated on social media, appeared to show Singh's character, Jaskirat, smoking while wearing a turban. In an official Instagram statement, Dhar explained the viral visual was digitally altered using artificial intelligence and was never part of the film's promotional campaign, calling it "Manipulated." He accused unidentified individuals of misusing official promotional material to create misleading content, writing that "one such fabricated image falsely depicts the character Hamza/Jaskirat smoking while wearing a turban" and is "a deliberate act of misrepresentation intended to provoke and create mischief." Dhar also addressed concerns about Sikh representation, stating he holds "the highest respect for the Sikh community" and that "every portrayal in the film has been handled with utmost sensitivity, dignity, and responsibility." He urged audiences to "rely only on official content" and not fall prey to AI-generated misinformation.
