Amazon announced plans to invest an additional 13 billion dollars to expand artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure in India, bringing its total commitment to 48 billion dollars between 2026 and 2030, building on a prior pledge of 35 billion dollars made in December of the previous year. The funds will primarily support AWS data center capacity growth in Mumbai and Hyderabad, according to CNBC.
