Envirotech Vehicles, Inc. (NASDAQ:EVTV) highlighted the appointment of Andrew Omori, Partner and Head of Fund Strategy at Andreessen Horowitz ("a16z"), to the advisory team of AZIO AI Corporation, EVTV's merger partner under a previously announced definitive merger agreement. AZIO AI management believes the appointment strengthens the leadership and capital markets expertise for the combined artificial intelligence infrastructure platform. EVTV management believes a key opportunity is ownership of physical infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads. Through its South Texas operations, EVTV has identified approximately 11 MW of currently available power capacity and is evaluating opportunities for up to approximately 500 MW of additional power capacity to support future AI Hyperscale data center initiatives. Mr. Omori brings nearly two decades of experience and leads a16z's Fund Strategy function. Andreessen Horowitz has invested in companies including xAI, OpenAI, and Databricks. The announcement comes amid accelerating investor attention on AI infrastructure, data centers, and power generation.
