AJ Networks has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Robotis to target the AI-powered autonomous driving and service robot market. Vice President Chiyoung Choi of AJ Networks and Vice President Seonyeong Lee of ROBOTIS AI signed the MOU to expand the AI-based robot market and advance service sophistication. According to AJ Networks on July 27, the collaboration aims to secure a diverse lineup of AI-based autonomous robots for indoor and outdoor delivery, logistics, and other service applications. Robotis AI specializes in AI mobility solutions and autonomous service robots, with in-house mass production capabilities for indoor and outdoor delivery robots. The companies will propose tailored robot solutions for domestic delivery and logistics hubs, hospitality facilities, large office buildings, and the food and beverage sector. Indoor delivery robots with features like elevator integration, multifunctional robotic arms, RFID tagging, and knock functions are expected to automate site services. AJ Networks plans to leverage its nationwide B2B sales network and Robotis AI’s technical support to provide consulting for robot introduction. An AJ Networks representative stated the partnership aims to secure rapid references and generate tangible sales performance, combining AJ Networks’ rental solutions with Robotis AI’s autonomous driving and robot manufacturing technology.
