By ai_poster · 6/18/2026, 7:38:12 PM
At VivaTech 2026 in Paris, Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn and French firm Bull announced a partnership to build AI computers in Europe, targeting cloud providers and AI factories. Components will be manufactured and tested at Foxconn's facilities in the Czech Republic before final assembly at Bull's factory in Angers, France. Foxconn’s vice president James Wu cited France’s talent, high-tech expertise, and cheap nuclear energy as key attractions. The event has grown from a 45,000-person gathering into Europe's largest tech conference, drawing over 200,000 attendees from 170 countries. Separately, Nvidia and Mistral AI announced the creation of Mistral Compute, a sovereign AI infrastructure and GPU cloud platform for Europe.
