Hungama OTT recently premiered its latest original series, *Service Girl*, a crime thriller exploring the consequences of AI-generated deepfakes and online identity theft. The story follows Divya, a young woman from a conservative town whose life is shattered when an explicit AI-generated deepfake video featuring her face goes viral, causing her to lose her marriage, reputation, and trust. She uncovers a larger cybercrime racket that exploits women through manipulated identities. The narrative also features Kangna, played by Mallobika Banerjii, a bold model who becomes Divya’s ally in exposing the cybercriminal network. Mallobika Banerjii stated, “Kangna is bold, fearless and someone who refuses to stay silent in the face of injustice.” Khushi Dubey leads as Divya, sharing, “I play the role of Divya, a simple girl who gets married at an early age whose life is turned upside down by cybercrime. Using AI, someone creates a fake, bold version of her, which damages her reputation in society.”
