IREN has appointed Kambiz Aghili as chief product officer and Michael Nudelman as chief development officer, adding two senior executives with cloud and data center development experience as the company expands its AI cloud business. The Nasdaq-listed bitcoin miner and AI infrastructure company said Thursday that both appointments will be based in San Francisco. Aghili will oversee product strategy and the roadmap for IREN’s AI cloud platform, including its bare-metal GPU offering, managed services and broader product capabilities, and joins from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Nudelman will lead IREN’s global data center development strategy, including expansion of the company’s 5-gigawatt secured grid-connected power portfolio across existing and new markets, and previously held senior roles at Google, CyrusOne and Beale Infrastructure. The appointments underscore IREN’s effort to deepen its management bench as it shifts more attention toward AI infrastructure.
