Reed Smith announced Monday that it partnered with Cornell University’s Executive Education unit to launch its Reed Smith Artificial Intelligence Leadership Program at the Cornell Tech campus in New York City. Led by Cornell University faculty and slated to be held in September, the program will consist of workshops exchanging ideas between Reed Smith partners and Cornell faculty related to responsible AI adoption, technical expertise and other strategies intersecting with AI and delivering legal services. The program will also assist the firm in guiding clients through AI implementation. Cindy Minniti, Reed Smith partner and global head of legal personnel, said the program is a strategy session to partner with a well-respected university, focusing on workshopping and education to enhance AI strategy, governance, ethics, compliance, regulatory, and digital transformation. Minniti added that Cornell's Executive Education unit earned Gold and Silver Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards for leadership development in 2025. Faculty leading the program include Matthew D’Amore, Nate Schorr, and Karan Girotra.
