Key capabilities include Artifacts, where Claude builds functioning tools like a graphing calculator, quiz, data dashboard, or game in a live panel for immediate use and refinement. Claude can also search the web for up-to-date information, pulling in breaking news and comparing recently released products. A dedicated Research mode on paid plans runs multiple searches over several minutes, synthesizing findings into thorough answers with citations. Through integrations called Connectors, Claude works with external platforms including Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Slack. Some features are available on the free plan, while most become significantly more powerful on a paid one.
