On July 28, Sandro released a reel mocking Otero Alcántara, amassing over 28,000 views in a few hours. On July 13, another animated piece depicted journalists Mario Pentón and Alex Otaola as scavenger birds, widely interpreted as an attack on exile voices. Analysts have suggested potential State Security involvement, though Sandro claimed in a March 2026 CNN Español interview that he was summoned and questioned by the agency due to his satirical videos.
