F5 (NASDAQ: FFIV) has introduced F5 AI Guardrails integrated with Nvidia NeMo Guardrails, a solution designed to provide centralized security policy enforcement across enterprise AI applications, and is generally available now. The integration separates security enforcement from the AI framework, allowing organizations to apply security inspection of prompts and large language model responses without modifying existing AI application code. F5 AI Guardrails handles detection of prompt injection, personally identifiable information exposure, data leakage, and harmful outputs, while Nvidia NeMo Guardrails provides the underlying safety and security framework. The architecture allows the security layer and the AI framework to be updated or scaled independently. Kunal Anand, Chief Product Officer at F5, stated the integration gives security teams a unified point to inspect AI traffic and enforce policy. Ash Bhalgat, Senior Director of AI Networking and Security Solutions at Nvidia, said the integration expands protections for securing LLM prompts and responses. Equinix, Red Hat, and WWT also provided supporting statements.
