Momenta has received Germany-wide L4 testing approval from the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), one of the world's most rigorous vehicle safety authorities. The approval allows Momenta to test its L4 autonomous driving technology across urban environments nationwide under one of the most demanding safety and validation regimes anywhere. The permit is seen by Momenta as evidence that Germany's regulatory framework rewards safety and capability. The company has deep roots in Germany, with its European headquarters in Böblingen and a Munich office, as well as long-standing partnerships with Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and the Volkswagen Group. The nationwide testing permit will accelerate Momenta's ongoing projects in the country, including planned robotaxi deployment in Munich, where the approval strengthens the technical and regulatory foundation for the project's next steps. Momenta's L4 mobility platform partners include Uber, Grab, and Lumo.
