Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, was the youngest billionaire in the world with 4 billion dollars in 2010 and the 52nd richest man in 2011, with a personal fortune estimated at $13.5 billion. After graduating from Phillips Exeter Academy in 2003, he joined Harvard, where he created his first network by hacking photos to rate the sex appeal of friends, achieving 22,000 connections in two hours. In 2004, he launched Facebook for Harvard students, opening it to the public in 2006. By 2010, 500 million people had accounts, and the site had a turnover of $500 million in 2009. In 2007, Microsoft spent $280 million to hold 1.7% of the network, and a Chinese billionaire spent $120 million for approximately 0.8%. In 2011, The Guardian ranked Zuckerberg the most powerful figure ahead of Rupert Murdoch, Larry Page, and Steve Jobs. He faced two trials: one from the Winklevoss twins over intellectual property and another from Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of The Facebook.
