SpaceX has released its first public financial report, announcing a partnership with NVIDIA to launch an orbital AI computing network called Starmind. The project aims to move AI computing power from Earth's surface into space, using a satellite matrix to address power consumption and heat dissipation concerns. The financial report shows revenue skyrocketed by 92% to reach 7.8 billion US dollars, and the number of Starlink users doubled, exceeding the 12 million mark. The Starmind project proposes launching data centers equipped with NVIDIA's top-tier chips into the Sun-synchronous orbit. Musk cited two main advantages: constant sunlight in space, providing energy density several times higher than on the ground, and perfect vacuum heat dissipation, allowing waste heat to radiate directly into space without needing cooling towers, fans, or dry coolers. SpaceX has designed a deployable liquid radiator with an area of up to 160 s.
