The Naukri JobSpeak Index for July 2026 closed at 3227, compared to 3074 in July 2025, and shifted upward from 3027 in June 2026. AI and ML job postings surged by 33% year-on-year, leading emerging-tech hiring demands. Info Edge’s Standalone Q1 billings grew by 14.4% YoY to ₹737 crore, driven by a 17.5% YoY rise in its flagship recruitment segment to ₹552.7 crore, compared to ₹644.2 crore in the prior year. Non-metro areas like Bhubaneswar and Gandhinagar showed exceptional hiring growth of 24% and 23%, respectively. The IT recruitment segment registered positive growth, reversing a prolonged negative trend. Recruitment segment billing margins reached approximately 61% in FY26. The turnaround in IT hiring indicates structural relief for tech-services firms and Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India, with strong billing recovery validating rising corporate discretionary spends on human capital.
