Dmitry Zlokazov, former Global Head of Product and Head of Retail at Revolut, has joined Murphy as Co-founder and Chief Product Officer. Murphy is deploying AI voice agents designed to take over manual banking operations, specifically focusing on the debt collection phase of the credit funnel, negotiating repayment plans with customers in arrears on behalf of 34 banks and lenders across 15 countries. The startup, founded in Barcelona with additional offices in London, Dubai, São Paulo, and CDMX, has secured $15 million in funding from investors including Northzone, ElevenLabs, Lakestar, and Seedcamp. In controlled A/B tests against traditional call centres and collection agencies, Murphy’s AI agents reportedly recovered 3–4 percentage points more than human staff, at a fraction of the cost while maintaining a record of zero compliance incidents. Zlokazov, who previously managed the main consumer product department and KPIs at Revolut, will lead the effort to scale these agents across the broader credit servicing lifecycle. The company’s current footprint includes deployments within top-tier global institutions across Europe and Latin America. Murphy AI was founded by Borja Solé, formerly of Y Combinator, and Marc Sanchez, formerly of Twilio, alongside Zlokazov.
