AI4Bharat at IIT Madras and Josh Talks AI have unveiled a multimodal AI evaluation platform, part of a broader trend in India where AI addresses development challenges such as farming, education, TB screening, and multilingual government services. According to MeitY, India’s digital economy contributed Rs 31.6 lakh crore, or 11.7 per cent of the GDP, in 2022-23, with that share expected to approach one-fifth by 2030.
