Certinia, a professional services automation platform, announced Tuesday it has acquired Moonnox, a Chicago-based AI-native services delivery platform, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition accelerates Certinia’s expansion into AI-native services delivery and expands Veda, its suite of specialist AI agents, to help customers operate their business and accelerate project delivery. Moonnox captures real-time context from apps, meetings, and conversations, combining it with Certinia’s data-rich systems of record to give teams and AI agents a more complete view of each engagement. Certinia CEO DJ Paoni stated that acquiring Moonnox empowers services teams with needed context, while Moonnox co-founder and CEO Robert Ong noted the combination closes a gap neither could close alone. Veda’s new capabilities, powered by foundational master agents and out-of-the-box agents, include seamless sales handoff and alignment, which accelerates deal wins and streamlines handoffs by automatically crafting proposal responses and generating statements of work, as well as precision scoping and planning that converts complex customer requirements into actionable blueprints.
