Startup HiveAI has partnered with managed service provider Fuse Technology to provide AI infrastructure for its talent skills platform, YouHive, which was founded by former Ingram Micro director Trent Gomersall, along with Sonia Phillips and Kai Gomersall. YouHive aims to highlight, verify, and make individuals’ skills discoverable for education, industry, and employment through a “capability passport” powered by AI that consolidates education, certifications, project experience, work exposure, and skills evidence. The platform also enables universities and training providers to connect learning outcomes to employability and vendors to see certified talent pipelines in real time. Fuse Technology will deliver enterprise-grade cloud architecture for institutional trust, employer adoption, and global deployment, while HiveAI leads the intelligence layer for structuring and mapping capability. YouHive CEO Trent Gomersall stated the solution addresses the skills shortage as a structural global problem, creating a verified system of record for human capability. The platform is built on Amazon Web Services, which Gomersall said provides global infrastructure for scale, security, and performance.
