Tesla Model 3 Breaks EV Cannonball Run Record During 20k-Mile FSD Str…

Tesla owner David Moss recorded over 20,000 consecutive miles on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving system without a single human intervention, using his Model 3 over the past eight months. The unbroken streak spanned complex city streets, highway driving, active construction zones, and automated entries into Supercharger stalls across North America. Moss previously completed a 2,732-mile coast-to-coast trip from Los Angeles to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in under three days with zero disengagements. In May, he drove 3,760 miles across Canada from Horseshoe Bay in British Columbia to Halifax, Nova Scotia without taking control. An earlier attempt had reached 12,961 continuous miles across 30 states before severe winter weather in Wisconsin forced him to take the wheel in January. Every mile was verified through vehicle telemetry logged to the FSD Database, a community tracking system created by Tesla blogger Omar Qazi, and confirmed by Tesla’s built-in software counter, which automatically resets to zero if a driver touches the steering wheel, taps the brake, or cancels navigation. The accomplishment drew public praise from Tesla executives, including AI Software Vice President Ashok Elluswamy and CEO Elon Musk.
