Autonomous ATG, a Physical AI company, announced on September 21 that it signed a business agreement on September 16 with the Future Automotive Innovation Convergence University Project Group at Ajou University to cultivate professional talent in future mobility and strengthen industry-academia cooperation. The agreement aims to connect the two organizations' resources and expertise to build a framework for collaborative education, research, and industry-university partnerships, fostering talent with practical skills required by industry. Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on exchanges and joint research in future automotive fields such as eco-friendly vehicles, autonomous driving, software-defined vehicles (SDV), and mobility services; joint development and operation of educational programs, special lectures, and workshops tailored to industry needs; strengthening students' practical skills and employment opportunities through field training, internships, company tours, and professional mentoring; and joint planning and operation of problem-solving projects based on company needs, capstone design courses, and industry-academia assignments. Given that next year's planned expansion of the Suwon City autonomous driving DRT shuttle line will pass in front of Ajou University, the two parties will leverage this agreement to strengthen cooperation.
