Neysa Targets FY27 Revenue Surge With Massive GPU Expansion In India

Mumbai-based AI cloud services startup Neysa expects its revenue to “at least triple” in the next fiscal year, driven by deal talks and policy tailwinds including a tax holiday for global data centres in India until 2047. On February 16, Neysa announced an agreement to raise $1.2 billion, split equally between equity and debt at $600 million each, led by Blackstone with co-investors TVS Capital, 360 ONE Assets, and Nexus Ventures. Co-founder and CEO Sharad Sanghi framed the fundraise as a “war chest” for flexible capital drawdown as demand materialises across enterprises, startups, research, and government programmes including the IndiaAI Mission. Neysa is in discussions with “coding companies” and US-headquartered AI firms including Perplexity, OpenAI and Anthropic. The company plans to increase its GPUs from 1,200 to 20,000 units over the next 18 months. Sanghi believes India currently has 50,000–60,000 GPUs, potentially growing 30x to 2 million GPUs, with Neysa aiming for a “sizable chunk.” A surge in domestic demand postponed global plans, but Neysa expects to expand into Asian countries including Malaysia and Japan before entering some European markets.
