Evotec SE (EVO) and Odyssey Therapeutics Inc. (ODTX) announced Wednesday a strategic research and development partnership deploying artificial intelligence and advanced screening technologies to hunt for new treatments for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The collaboration will combine Odyssey's disease biology expertise with Evotec's data-driven discovery infrastructure to identify and validate differentiated small molecule drug candidates across multiple high-value targets. Under the agreement, Odyssey will access Evotec's proprietary compound libraries, high-throughput screening capabilities, and AI-enabled data science technologies. The partnership is structured around milestone payments, with Evotec receiving payments upon successful delivery of validated hit series for each designated disease target; specific financial terms were not disclosed. Evotec, based in Hamburg, operates platforms including Molecular Patient Databases, PanOmics, and iPSC-based disease modeling, and works with all of the top 20 global pharmaceutical firms and more than 800 biotech companies, supported by over 4,500 experts across Europe and the United States. Odyssey Therapeutics, a biotech focused on precision medicines for serious inflammatory diseases, is listed on the Nasdaq under ODTX, while Evotec trades on the Nasdaq as EVO and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's Prime Standard under EVT.
