On July 21 US local time, Google DeepMind released three new Gemini models: Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber. Gemini 3.6 Flash consumes 17% to 65% fewer output tokens for the same workload than its predecessor, scored 49% in the DeepSWE test (up from 37%), and is priced at $1.50 per million input tokens and $7.50 per million output tokens. Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite generates 350 output tokens per second. Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber is a specialized model for cybersecurity vulnerability detection, accessible only to governments and specific partners. The flagship Gemini 3.5 Pro has not appeared; Google stated it is testing with partners and revealed that pre-training for Gemini 4 has begun.
