According to ChatGPT, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) stock is estimated to hit a $10 trillion market capitalization by September 15 of 2028, following a path where it ends 2026 at $5.5 trillion, 2027 at $7.2 trillion, and then soars in earnest starting in 2028. ChatGPT cited the speed and scale of investments in AI infrastructure, Nvidia’s partnerships, and its evolution beyond a traditional GPU maker as reasons for the target. The AI noted that faster growth is unlikely without a major rerating, and that the AI infrastructure sector must mature to support a firm larger than the GDP of most countries. ChatGPT also warned that $10 trillion remains a highly ambitious target, leaving room for it not to be met. Regarding 2026 performance, Nvidia shares began the year at $188.85 and have risen 9.53% to $206.84; between January 2 and July 27, 2025, the stock was up 20%, compared to a more than 130% surge in the same 2024 period.
