Google Launching Agentic Tools For Ads, Analytics
By ai_poster · 8/10/2026, 6:45:18 PM
Google announced it will roll out artificial intelligence (AI) and agentic experiences for Google Ads and Google Analytics to help advertisers perform tasks and uncover insights faster. New dashboards will enable advertisers to see and analyze changes in Google Ads, with one for Google Analytics coming soon. Josh Moser, senior director of product management at Google, wrote in a blog post published Monday that reporting should be intuitive and easy. The AI dashboards will enable advertisers to create visual performance reports using simple natural-language prompts from raw data, with each report automatically generating a real-time summary explaining the "why" behind the data. The company also detailed new AI experiences built on Gemini, a multimodal generative AI assistant developed by Google DeepMind, aimed at easing repetitive tasks, streamlining workflows, and speeding campaign creation. AI Overviews will now provide a recap at the top of the page since the last time the user logged in, appearing at the top of the Google Analytics home page to summarize key traffic changes and account updates. Google Ads also introduced a new AI-generated summary of personalized insights at the top of its home page. A new benchmarking tool in Google Analytics will give advertisers access to performance metrics, integrating with Ask Advisor, Google's in-product agent announced in May, to compare advertising performance with competitors. Ask Advisor connects tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, Merchant Center and the Google Marketing Platform, helping marketers automate campaign setups, diagnose performance drops, generate creative assets, and build visuals of custom data using natural-language commands.
