Downdetector logs show issues began shortly after 3:30 p.m. EDT and were resolved within the hour, with roughly half of all complaints tied to Claude Code. The “capacity constraints” error on Claude appears when the system is under heavy, platform‑wide demand and Anthropic’s servers temporarily can’t handle additional requests.
