Global self-driving company Autonomous A2G announced on the 13th that it participated in the "NCS AI Impact 2026" held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo in Singapore on the 9th and introduced the level 4 unmanned self-driving shuttle "ROii" and remote control driving technology. NCS AI Impact 2026 is an annual AI and tech forum held by NCS, a subsidiary of Singapore Telecom (Singtel). At the "Korea-Sing AI Connect Summit" in March, A2G signed an MOU with NCS and Singapore's public market for commercialization of autonomous driving. This is the first time A2G's level 4 RoboShuttle ROii has been unveiled in the Singapore market. An AI-based level 4 remote control driving demonstration linking South Korea and Singapore was held, where a staff member at the Singapore event site manipulated a remote driving cockpit, and a Sonata (DN8) modified by ATG at K-City in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, Korea, was transmitted in real time. Safety drivers were on board but did not drive. A2G has been building its autonomous driving business in Singapore since 2023, establishing a joint venture in 2024 and acquiring Singapore's first self-driving license M1 in 2025.
