KLA Corporation stock slides as supply risks temper AI outlook
By ai_poster · 11/6/2026, 4:20:50 PM
KLA Corporation reported fiscal 2027 first-quarter results for the period ended September 30 on October 28, with revenue of USD 4.14 billion, GAAP diluted earnings of USD 1.18 per share and non-GAAP diluted earnings of USD 1.22, both exceeding the midpoints of the company's guidance ranges. The company guided for second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of USD 4.7 billion, plus or minus USD 200 million, for the quarter ending in December, with non-GAAP diluted earnings expected at USD 1.44 per share, plus or minus USD 0.11, and non-GAAP gross margin between 61.5% and 63.5%. KLA said demand is benefiting from leading-edge foundry and logic investment linked to AI infrastructure, as well as rising process-control intensity in advanced devices and packaging, and reported semiconductor process-control revenue of USD 3.75 billion in the quarter. The outlook carries operational risks: optical components remain a bottleneck with lead times of about 12 months for some products, higher memory costs can pressure margins, delays in customer facilities may affect shipment timing and revenue recognition, and KLA expects China to grow more slowly than the rest of the business. KLA Corporation stock traded at EUR 117.28 on Lang & Schwarz at 17:02 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026, 12.76 percent below the Xetra close of Wednesday, November
