In the past six months, Agent products represented by Claude Code/Cowork and Codex have been the clearest main line in the AI industry. On June 30th, Anthropic launched Claude Science, an AI workbench for scientists. Anthropic's strategy involves Agents taking over code work, office tasks, and scientific research. Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, Kimi, MiniMax, and Zhipu are all working on Agents, generally following Anthropic's distinction between Code and Work products. Tencent WorkBuddy is a well-known Agent product in China, with Tencent also offering CodeBuddy for developers. CodeBuddy covers more than 95% of Tencent's engineers, and WorkBuddy handles document processing, content organization, collaborative tasks, and general office needs, utilizing the ecological advantages of Tencent Docs, Tencent Meeting, ima Knowledge Base, Tencent LeXiang, and WeChat.
