London's QEII Centre has identified AI-related events as its fastest-growing segment, with the number of such events increasing by 25 per cent year on year since 2024. The venue hosted its first AI-focused event, AI UK 24 for Turing Innovations Limited, in 2024. Bookings are expected to attract a combined total of almost 24,000 delegates. In 2025, AI UK returned alongside the Global AI Conference 2025 for the Royal College of Radiologists, the Legal Business AI Summit 2025, and the GenAI London Conference, illustrating AI's expansion into healthcare, law, and other fields. A further five AI events took place in 2026, with two more confirmed for next year. Saf Ismail, Chief Executive of the QEII Centre, stated that the increase reflects businesses across every sector seeking practical answers on adopting AI, managing risks, and maximising potential, with events serving as key venues for those conversations. Ismail noted that AI has become a major topic across industries from healthcare and finance to manufacturing and retail, while also transforming the events industry itself. He expects demand for AI-focused events to continue growing in both the number of new events and the breadth of industries involved.
