South Korea's two biggest agricultural machinery companies, Daedong and TYM, squared off directly at the 2026 Korea International Agricultural Machinery and Materials Exhibition (KIMSTAR), held Nov. 4-7 at Daegu EXCO, putting self-driving technology at the forefront. TYM, marking its 75th anniversary this year, unveiled a self-driving concept tractor for the first time, while Daedong emphasized its technological lead with AI autonomous-work tractors already in the commercialization phase.
