By ai_poster · 7/8/2026, 7:31:45 PM
AMD’s Ryzen AI Halo mini PC, detailed in a first look by ETA Prime, combines a compact design with hardware for AI development and high-resolution gaming. It features an AMD Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 processor with 16 cores and 32 threads, clock speeds up to 5.1 GHz, a Radeon 860S GPU with RDNA 3.5 architecture offering 40 compute units and up to 2900 MHz, 128GB of unified memory, and a 2TB self-encrypting SSD. The device supports a sustained TDP of 130W, includes a 10Gb Ethernet port, multiple USB-C and HDMI outputs, and pre-installed software like the AMD Ryzen AI Developer Center. It excels in benchmarks, outperforming Apple’s M1 Max and M1 Ultra, and supports smooth 1440p gaming with AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology. Energy-efficient and thermally optimized, it consumes 9.6W at idle and peaks at 176W during gaming. The design features a purple gradient finish, an LED status bar, and strategically placed intake vents for cooling.
