Samsung and Google have revealed the final designs for their first co-developed smart glasses, currently called Intelligent Eyewear, in partnership with eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. The devices run Android XR and offer everyday AI-powered assistance through Gemini. The Gentle Monster version has a slim black frame with a straight upper rim and softly rounded lower edges, while Warby Parker's version is available in brown with a subtly upswept brow line. Samsung worked closely with both eyewear brands to refine key fit points, including the forehead and ears. The smart glasses use Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 platform and have a built-in camera, microphones, speakers, and touch-sensitive areas on the temples for control. They can be operated through voice commands, taps, and swipes, and integrate with other Galaxy ecosystem products such as the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watches, though gestures only work with the Galaxy Watch 9 (or newer models). The glasses connect to a smartphone and can summarize long messages and support live translation using simple voice commands or gestures.
