1C Game Studios will soon release the flight simulator "Korea. IL-2 Series" on PC via Steam, following a patch that addresses community feedback. The hotfix includes several improvements to AI aircraft: fixed targeting when flying inverted, adjusted missile attack evasion so AI no longer avoids elevations that do not block missiles, improved terrain following when attacking stationary targets, corrected dive pull-out distance calculations for slope attacks, and stopped AI from attacking buildings without direct instruction. The patch also fixes various crash bugs, including one triggered when radar determined the direction to air targets. In career mode, task accounting for night interception missions has been adjusted: a task is completed after all bombers are destroyed, or after one is destroyed or damaged and then lands at its own airfield. For the Eastern Bloc, night interception missions now focus on intercepting heavy bombers. The logic for checking quick travel menu availability conditions has been adjusted. Controls were improved, notably for joysticks with force feedback, where the neutral position and control stick effort now change more realistically during flight. The game can be added to a Steam wishlist.
