America’s Commerce Department lifted export controls on all of Anthropic’s artificial-intelligence models. Last month officials ordered Anthropic to ban foreigners from gaining access to its latest Mythos and Fable models, citing safety concerns, which forced Anthropic to bar all users from those models. The firm says it has put in place “a new safeguard” to satisfy the Trump administration.
