Chinese reporting identifies July 8, 2026 as the filing date for Apple智能, while July 15 is when the public notice announced the group of seven services. Apple Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is the filing entity. Alibaba confirmed that its Qwen model family will be part of the implementation. Reuters also reported that Apple’s China service will draw on models from Alibaba and Baidu, though neither Apple nor Baidu has published a technical breakdown.
