Anthropic has launched the Claude Apps Gateway, now generally available on Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud, as a self-hosted control plane for enterprises to centrally manage team interactions with Claude Code. The gateway runs as a single stateless Linux container backed by PostgreSQL, featuring corporate Single Sign-On integration, role-based access controls, and configurable spending caps available on daily, weekly, and monthly intervals. It supports major OpenID Connect providers including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace, with support for up to 10 OIDC providers. Per-user cost attribution is another notable addition, with monthly cost attribution tracking available, and telemetry data can be exported via the OpenTelemetry Protocol. The gateway’s architecture ensures that upstream credentials stay within the client’s own infrastructure.
