SK shieldus announced on the 25th that its data engineering team won second place in the Korean-language track at the "2026 data and AI-based intelligent application development hackathon" hosted by Databricks. The hackathon was an AI competition for the Asia-Pacific region, with more than 100 teams from Korea, Australia, India, Japan and Singapore participating. The team unveiled the AI-based app service "Todak Todak," which analyzes a guardian's voice description of a child's emergency situation or health condition and provides tailored response guidance according to urgency, linking real-time data such as nearby hospital information and emergency room congestion. Todak Todak was developed based on SK shieldus' experience using data accumulated while operating the ADT Caps physical security brand and its AI technology capabilities. An SK shieldus official said, "This hackathon was a meaningful experience that both verified our AI technology capabilities and confirmed its value in everyday safety."
