Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) and NVIDIA announced a long-term partnership to accelerate SSI's strategic growth, with NVIDIA making an investment in SSI. SSI will gain access to the next-generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform, allowing it to increase its compute by an order of magnitude. The companies will collaborate on advancing NVIDIA's compute platforms using SSI's insights into the future of AI. For the last two years, SSI has been advancing a new research direction for a powerful and robustly aligned artificial intelligence. NVIDIA entered the partnership after obtaining rare access into SSI's research. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, stated, "Ilya has pioneered fundamental breakthroughs at the foundation of modern AI, beginning with AlexNet." Ilya Sutskever, cofounder and CEO of SSI, said, "We have research that is worthy of scaling up, and having access to a big NVIDIA computer will let us do so." SSI, founded in 2024, is led by Ilya Sutskever and Daniel Levy.
