The Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems Expo 2026 in Islamabad concluded a two-day event at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, showcasing locally developed combat robots, surveillance drones, counter-drone systems, robotic dogs, autonomous ground vehicles, industrial robots, flight simulators and AI-powered machines. Exhibitors included the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation, CubeX LMS (which presented the Cu-bit 4.0 Pro compact unmanned ground vehicle), and research laboratories under the National Centre of Robotics and Automation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said some flight simulators had been fully manufactured and assembled in Pakistan, and that locally produced drones had achieved more than 60% indigenisation. Visitors watched live RoboWars battles and the RAS Innovation Challenge, which together offered a combined prize pool of Rs. 5 million; RoboWars winners received Rs. 2 million, while Rs. 3 million was distributed among successful teams in the RAS Innovation Challenge. The programme also included live drone shows, workshops, and an Immersive Experience Dome with a 360-degree digital presentation.
