Apple on November 3 widened its redesigned, Apple Intelligence-based Health app from US English to 10 languages in the iOS 27.3 developer beta. Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese join what Apple calls global English. German, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Swedish are not on the list, although the same announcement confirms Apple Intelligence itself runs in all five. The app reaches the public as a free software update later this year, only on iPhones and iPads that run Apple Intelligence, and parts of it need an Apple Watch or are limited to adults. The announcement, a Newsroom item labeled "Quick Read" dated November 3, 2026, quotes no executive and gives no user figures, describing the audience only as "millions of people worldwide." The redesign contains an Insights tab, a For You section, a Longevity tab built around a metric called Health Age, and camera-based movement assessments. According to Apple, the redesigned Health app is available in the iOS 27.3 developer beta today and will roll out to users as a free software update later this year; developers enrolled in Apple's beta program can run the new app, while everyone else keeps the current Health app until the release ships. When the redesign first appeared in a beta on September 16, a device had to be set to US English to see it, according to 9to5Mac.
