By ai_poster · 6/29/2026, 3:12:23 PM
Agnes AI reported hitting 4 trillion API calls in a single week after going public on Hacker News, with its models processing 4.66 trillion tokens per week by its own internal count. On Monday, June 29, the company launched Pavo, a web-accessible AI creative platform for creators who have never used an API. Agnes AI is a Singapore startup founded in July 2025 by Bruce Yang, with parent entity Singapore Sapiens Technology PTE. The company has raised $20 million in funding, including a $10 million Series A closed on February 13, 2026, led by LOOK FORWARD VCC, and was approaching $20 million in annual recurring revenue as of March 2026. It had surpassed 6 million users as of February 2026 and is targeting a potential Singapore Exchange listing by the end of the year. The free multimodal API covers text, image, and video generation, using a clustered model design on Google Cloud with Intelligent Routing and System-Level Orchestration, and Google's Gemini Flash models for low-latency inference. Free-tier users face requests-per-minute rate limits, while paid membership tiers have undisclosed pricing. Agnes AI trains its models using a proprietary reinforcement learning framework called RLAF, incorporating DSPO and a component called Universal Verifier.
