AgentCloak announced AgentCloak Desktop, a free Sovereign AI product that replaces private data with synthetic substitutes on the user’s device before prompts reach frontier AI models and restores the original values in the model’s reply. The company said employees and individuals paste emails, contracts, customer records, and personal details into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Copilot, DeepSeek, and other AI Chatbots, exposing names, addresses, account numbers, and identifiers. AgentCloak Desktop addresses this through Zero Data Sending, so the model never gets the real values. It detects sensitive fields locally and swaps them with consistent digital twins, such as “Peter Parker” becoming “Julio Schmidt” and “364 23rd St” becoming “401 Vanessa Curve,” then restores real values when replies return. The product pairs deterministic rules with a compact neural model running entirely on the user’s computer or inside the browser. It installs as a browser extension for Chrome, Safari, and Edge, or as a native app for Mac and Windows. The free product detects and cloaks first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, Social Security and tax ID numbers, bank routing and account numbers, and physical addresses, and supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
