Speedrun AI Labs, a Sydney AI lab that builds cybersecurity and compliance agents, has been accepted into Claude Startups, Anthropic’s program for early stage founders building on Claude, with Anthropic confirming membership on 10 October 2026. The company ships two agents: Anton, a cybersecurity agent that plugs into a business’s systems, helps review its code and infrastructure for weaknesses before they ship, and can run on the business’s own hardware; and Joseph, a compliance agent for financial services businesses that helps teams keep watch on the obligations they choose to track and flags what may have changed. With both agents, a human stays in the loop and makes every call. The company has six published research papers. Anthropic states on its program page that interest in Claude Startups has been far higher than it expected, that the current cohort is full, and that it is not accepting new applications; Speedrun AI Labs is a member of that cohort. According to Anthropic, members receive offers, tools and events, including the Claude Startup Stack, discounts and credits worth up to US$45,000 from companies building with Claude, live group sessions with Anthropic’s Applied AI team every other week, and invitations to Claude Startup events, hackathons and community meetups. Anthropic’s confirmation also sets out US$1,000 in Claude API credits and, for teams new to the plan, one free year of Claude Team. Speedrun AI Labs will use the program
