Anthropic released an amended S-1 investor prospectus on Monday, updating its total revenue and spending through the first nine months of the year. The company said revenue grew $1,206% to $33.2 billion through the first nine months of the year that ended Sept. 30; the original S-1, covering the first six months through June 30, listed revenue of $16.3 billion, and Anthropic recorded revenue of $4.6 billion in all of 2025. Operating losses improved year over year to -$1.3 billion in the first nine months of 2026 from -$5.2 billion in the same period in 2025. Anthropic reported an operating loss of $536 million in the September quarter, compared with operating income of $974 million in the June quarter, which it attributed to a $5 billion charge for compute under short-term commitments and $2 billion in non-cash charges from its donation matching program. The company revealed an aggregate committed spend of $895.4 billion, primarily related to compute and infrastructure; $447.5 billion will hit before Dec. 31, 2030, with the remainder coming between 2031 and 2045, and $69.8 billion will be due over the next 12 months. Anthropic didn't appear to make many changes to its vast risks section.
