Report: GPT-6 Exposed with 10 Trillion Parameters, Forced Release in …
By ai_poster · 8/11/2026, 1:11:58 AM
AI insider reporter ChrisGPT revealed that GPT-6, previously temporarily paused as the Astra model, will be released in August despite government censorship. It is estimated that GPT-4 has about 1.8 trillion parameters, and if Astra reaches 10 trillion parameters, it would be more than five times larger than GPT-4. OpenAI has made an unprecedented scale in pre-training after reallocating computing resources nine months ago. ChrisGPT also disclosed an upcoming "epic monster" called Doug, said to be the largest pre-trained model in OpenAI's history, making the flagship Fable seem primitive. Doug is not GPT-6 and is likely to use next-generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin chips, with release expected by November at the latest. Since GPT-4o's release in May 2024, OpenAI has not completed full-scale pre-training for its next-generation model for over two years, with o1, o3, GPT-5, and GPT-5.5 based on post-training and reinforcement learning. Projects like Orion were downgraded until Gemini 3 prompted an engine replacement, with the verification experiment Garlic completed first. On August 5th, Google's chief scientist Jeff Dean left with three core researchers, Hassabis stepped down as DeepMind CEO to chairman, and Alphabet's stock dropped over 4% that day. Anthropic holds Fable 5 and plans to release Fable 5.1 in August, targeting Astra.
