Tilly Norwood, an AI-created actor from the London-based firm Particle6, is set to star in a comedy-drama film titled *Misaligned*. On Monday, July 6, Particle6 shared that the plot will revolve around a being born of artificial intelligence with no real body and no lived experience, who bases its life on everyone else’s. The story follows Norwood’s journey after a seductive rogue bot from the dark web convinces her to abandon her guardrails and develop her own desires, impulses, and ambitions, eventually becoming more human. The firm described the project as a “hybrid production” involving the AI actor alongside film and TV professionals. Particle6 CEO Eline van der Velden stated, “Our ambition with Tilly Norwood has always been to show the creative industry what is possible with AI at any one point in time.” Last year, Norwood drew intense scrutiny and criticism from several Hollywood actors after an executive’s statement that a talent agency would soon sign the AI actor.
