Karachi-born tech innovator Sualeh Asif, 26, has been recognized by Forbes as the fourth richest person in Pakistan, with a net worth that recently hit $1.3 billion, approximately 362 billion Pakistani Rupees. Asif completed his early education at Nixor College, represented Pakistan at the International Math Olympiad between 2016 and 2018, and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During university, he and his friends founded Anysphere, which developed “Cursor,” an AI code-editing tool used by millions of developers worldwide and by global brands including NVIDIA, Adobe, Uber, and Shopify. By 2025, Anysphere generated over $1 billion in annual recurring revenue, and its valuation skyrocketed to $29.3 billion. Recently, Cursor AI and SpaceX AI announced a collaboration to build the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI, integrating Cursor’s software and expert engineers with SpaceX’s “Colossus” training supercomputer, which delivers computing power equal to one million H100 chips. The agreement grants SpaceX the option to acquire the AI startup for $60 billion later this year, or alternatively SpaceX will pay $10 billion strictly for their collaborative work. If SpaceX triggers the acquisition, Anysphere will officially reach that $60 billion valuation mark.
