A 9-year iOS veteran built his first game, "Capybara Food Delivery," in two weeks using AI, winning the championship of Cursor Vibejam 2026 and a prize of $25,000 (about 170,000 RMB). The developer, Reddit user Ieocoout, reported that over 27,000 lines of code in the entire game were written entirely by AI, with logos, illustrations, textures, 3D models, background music, sound effects, and editor tools also almost all AI-generated. The total development cost was less than $150. The game, a casual title supporting single-player and online multiplayer modes, was created using AI tools including Claude Code (Opus 4.7), for which he recharged an extra $100; GPT Images 2 and Grok for textures and illustrations; Tripo3D Pro for converting images to 3D models at $19.9 per month; and Suno and ElevenLabs for background music and sound effects. The game engine was Three.js. Ieocoout stated he barely wrote any code himself, instead focusing on thinking about gameplay, designing features, writing Prompts, playtesting, and adjusting the game experience, often running 2-3 Claude Code sessions simultaneously for different modules.
